Francesco Totti


Profile Football Stars | Francesco Totti | In the following seasons, he began to play more games and scored his first goal on 24 September 1994 in a 1-1 draw against Foggia. By 1995, Totti had become a regular in the starting eleven and scored 16 goals in the next three seasons. Roma's new coach for the 2005-06 season, Luciano Spalletti, went with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Totti scored his 200th goal with Roma in a 4-0 Coppa Italia win over Torino on 16 January 2008. Roma won the Coppa Italia Their ninth with a 2-1 victory over Internazionale on 24 May. Totti did not play though, he was still allowed to lift the cup as the team's captain. Totti performed well in the UEFA Europa League Inaugural. On 1 May, Totti scored a brace against Bari to equal and overtake Roberto Baggio in the total number of goals scored in the league with his 205th and 206th goals. Totti completed a remarkable turn-around in his season, Completing the 2010-11 Serie A campaign with 15 goals - scoring 12 goals in Roma's last thirteen league fixtures.


On 8 January 2012, Totti scored his first goal of the season against Chievo, converting first one penalty in the first half and then another in the second, in a game the which ended 2-0 for Roma. Totti first came into international prominence while playing in the UEFA youth tournaments. Totti won the UEFA Under-21 Championship in 1996, in the final match, he opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw against the Spanish before triumphing on Penalties. After starring with the Azzurrini in Italy's Under-19 and Under-21 sides, Totti earned his first cap for Italy during a Euro 2000 qualifying victory against Switzerland on 10 October 1998. Then-Italy coach Roberto Donadoni Attempted to get Totti to change his mind for the remaining Euro 2008 qualifiers but was not successful.  After the national team reunited with Marcello Lippi, Totti Announced That he would play in the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa if he got called up. Claudio Marchisio


Profile Football Stars | Claudio Marchisio | As a child, he was interested in Various sports and joined the youth football team at Fiat's satellite sports club where he was later Sisport scouted by Juventus youth coaches at age seven.  Later That season he captained the side to Primavera Primavera Campionato Their first title in twelve years and a runner-up finish at the Viareggio Tournament in his last full season with the Primavera squad.

Antonio Di Natale


Profile Football Stars | Antonio Di Natale | Di Natale earned the prestigious award of being the Serie A 'Capocannoniere' for the 2009/10 season, as well as the 2010/11 season. Though born in Naples, Antonio Di Natale moved up north and joined Empoli's youth system. He impressed while playing for the Tuscany side in Serie A. Di Natale finished his debut season with a record of 33 games and seven goals. In the 2007-08 season, Di Natale scored 17 goals. The two most notable goals were scored on Match day 4, when Udinese played against Reggina. Forming a formidable attacking duo with Fabio Quagliarella, Di Natale improved his goal tally, Becoming the focal point of the attack.


15 May 2010 saw the conclusion of Di Natale's best-ever season, scoring 29 goals in Serie A, and contributing 54% of Udinese's total goals. As of 11 March 2012 Di Natale is second in the Serie A scoring title behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.  On 24 June 2010 he scored a goal in the 3-2 defeat against Slovakia the which resulted Italy finishing bottom of its group.

Fabio Quagliarella


Profile Football Stars | Fabio Quagliarella | Quagliarella signed with Udinese in summer 2005. Quagliarella stayed at Ascoli for just one season, scoring just three times in 33 Serie A appearances, and his rights were bought back in full by Udinese in June 2006 for an undisclosed fee. On July 7, 2006, Udinese sold co-ownership of Quagliarella, along with Mirko Pieri, to Sampdoria in exchange for the transfer of Salvatore Foti. During the 2006-2007 season with the blucerchiati, Quagliarella scored 13 goals in league play and earned worldwide attention due to the spectacular nature of many of his goals. Quagliarella began his career at Torino, where he grew up in their youth sector. He made his Serie A debut for Torino against Piacenza on May 14, 2000, and later made four appearances in the following 2001-02 Serie A season.


On June 1, 2009, Quagliarella his hometown club moved to Napoli for a transfer fee of € 18 million, where he signed a five year deal. At Naples, he was partnered with attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamsik , and managed to score 11 goals in Serie A Napoli to help qualify for the 2010-11 UEFA Europa League with a 6th place finish in the league. He played his last match for Napoli in the Europa League, in a 1-0 win over IF Elfsborg. Before the winter break, he was the team's top scorer with nine league goals in 17 appearances. On 22 June 2011 Quagliarella signed a 3 year deal to stay with Juventus for € 10.5 million. He scored his third goal of the season against his former club Napoli and Refused to celebrate due to his Neapolitan roots.


On 6 February, he scored Italy's third goal in their 3-1 triumph over Portugal in an international friendly in Zurich. In June 2010 he scored a header against Switzerland in Italy's final friendly before the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He was included in the Italian Euro 2008 squad and the Italian 2010 World Cup squad. Thiago Alcântara


Profile Football Stars | Thiago Alcântara | Thiago was born in San Pietro Vernotico, Italy and grew up in Spain. His father is former Brazilian World Cup winner Mazinho. He started at the lower levels of Flamengo and at the age of five, he moved to Spain with his father and his cousin Patrick Gude, and started playing with Team Galician Ureca in Nigran . Thiago Alcántara do Nascimento,  known simply as Thiago, is a Spanish football player. He currently plays as a central midfielder for FC Barcelona.


On 20 February 2010, after coming on as a subtitute for Yaya Touré in the 76th minute, Thiago scored his first goal for Barcelona's first team in a 4-0 win against Racing de Santander at the Camp Nou. On 29 June 2011, Thiago signed a renewal contract keeping him at Barcelona until 30 June 2015, with a buyout clause of € 90 million. Thiago started the 2011-12 in the first leg of the Supercopa match against Spanish rivals Real Madrid being substituted by Xavi after 58 minutes. He then scored on Barcelona's first La Liga match of the season in a 5-0 thriller against Villarreal CF home.


Thiago was ever-present during Spain's victorious 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship campaign, scoring the second goal of a 2-0 victory with a 40-yard free kick against Switzerland in the final.

Marco Borriello


Profile Football Stars | Marco Borriello | Borriello came up through the ranks of Milan but was transferred to Treviso on loan before having the chance to prove Himself at the club. Marco Borriello, is an Italian footballer who plays striker for Serie A club Juventus, on loan from Roma. Previously he has played for other Italian clubs, Including Milan, Sampdoria, Treviso, Reggina, Empoli, Triestina, Rome, and Genoa.


Borriello made his Serie A debut for A.C. Milan on 21 September 2002 against Perugia but failed to Establish Himself and spent much of the next few years on loan at other Serie A clubs. After only three appearances for Milan, he went on to shine for league rivals Empoli for the rest of the 2002-03 Serie A season. He returned to Milan for the 2003-04 season but played in just four games. In the 2004-05 season, he was on loan to Reggina. In the 2005-06 season he was once again sent on loan, this time to Sampdoria along with Samuele Dalla Bona Milan teammates and Ignazio Abate. Borriello left Sampdoria in January 2006 for a six-month loan stint at Treviso where he scored his then-career best of five Serie A goals. That season were relegated Treviso. Borriello was recalled to the Milan first team in the summer of 2006 after Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko star sold to Chelsea and Marcio Amoroso was released from the club.


On 21 June 2007, Borriello was sold to Genoa in a co-ownership deal with Milan, for € 8.1 million. Borriello helped Genoa Newly-Promoted Their get first win of the season, scoring his first hat-trick at the expense of Udinese. Incidentally, in the return fixture on 24 February 2008 in Udine, Borriello hit another hat-trick in a 5-3 away win, reaching 15 league goals in the process. He finished the season with 19.


Following the sale of Alberto Gilardino to Fiorentina, it was confirmed on 29 May 2008 That Borriello would return to Milan as his replacement. He started the first game of the season for Milan against U.S. Lecce. Total of 17 goals for Roma in 2010-11 season. Borriello also received a leaving incentive of € 275,000 from Rome, the which de facto came from the loan That income paid Juventus.  Borriello was in the squad for Euro 2008 but did not play.

Antonio Nocerino


Profile Football Stars | Antonio Nocerino | Antonio Nocerino was born in Naples, Southern Italy on the 9 April 1985 to Ciro and Giovanna. On 5 October, his second child was born. Midfielder with skills to tackle, during his stay at Juventus was also used as a right midfielder or as a playmaker. On 26th October 2011, Nocerino notched a hat-trick for Milan in a 4-1 win against Parma. Since his move from Palermo, Nocerino has established Himself as a regular goalscorer with AC Milan.

Alessandro Del Piero

It was while playing with his local side of San Vendemiano in 1988 That Del Piero was first spotted by scouts - he left home at the young age of 13 to play in the youth side of Padova Calcio.


With the Turin club, he won the Serie A championship seven times (1995, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006), the Champions League (1996), and the Intercontinental Cup (1996). On 5 February 2011, with his substitution against Cagliari, Alessandro Del Piero Juventus Became the most capped player, edging out former Juventus legend Giampiero Boniperti. On 24 May 2011, Del Piero and Juventus played against Manchester United at Old Trafford in a friendly match being former England defender Gary Neville's testimonial match. Juventus confirmed on 18 October 2011 That 2011-12 season would be Del Piero's last with the club.


Del Piero is currently Italy's fourth all-time leading scorer. Del Piero competed with fan favorite Roberto Baggio for a spot on the 1998 FIFA World Cup final roster while struggling to recover from injury suffered during the 1998 Champions League final with Juventus. Del Piero was called up to Italy's squad for the UEFA Euro 2008 Championship in Austria and Switzerland. Italy qualified through the group stage in second-place behind Holland, eliminating Romania and France.
