Fabio Quagliarella


Profile Football Stars | Fabio Quagliarella | Quagliarella signed with Udinese in summer 2005. Quagliarella stayed at Ascoli for just one season, scoring just three times in 33 Serie A appearances, and his rights were bought back in full by Udinese in June 2006 for an undisclosed fee. On July 7, 2006, Udinese sold co-ownership of Quagliarella, along with Mirko Pieri, to Sampdoria in exchange for the transfer of Salvatore Foti. At Naples, he was partnered with attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamsik , and managed to score 11 goals in Serie A Napoli to help qualify for the 2010-11 UEFA Europa League with a 6th place finish in the league. He played his last match for Napoli in the Europa League, in a 1-0 win over IF Elfsborg. Before the winter break, he was the team's top scorer with nine league goals in 17 appearances. On 22 June 2011 Quagliarella signed a 3 year deal to stay with Juventus for € 10.5 million. He scored his third goal of the season against his former club Napoli and Refused to celebrate due to his Neapolitan roots.


On 6 February, he scored Italy's third goal in their 3-1 triumph over Portugal in an international friendly in Zurich. In June 2010 he scored a header against Switzerland in Italy's final friendly before the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He was included in the Italian Euro 2008 squad and the Italian 2010 World Cup squad. Ezequiel Lavezzi


Profile Football Stars | Ezequiel Lavezzi | Ezequiel Iván Lavezzi is an Argentine football striker currently plays for WHO Italian Serie A club Napoli and the Argentine national team. Lavezzi Himself, however, plays this down, instead Comparing Himself to another young Argentine player Carlos Tévez. Lavezzi moved to the youth side of Estudiantes (BA) in 2003, where over one season, he played 39 games and scored 17 goals.

Lavezzi made his international debut for the Argentine national team team against Chile on 18 April 2007.In 2008 Lavezzi was selected to the Argentina Olympic football team the which represented Argentina at the 2008 Olympics, during the Olympic games he scored two goals, one against Australia on 10 August 2008, and a penalty against Serbia on 13 August 2008. Lavezzi also Appeared in the final minutes of extra time against Nigeria, in a game Argentina won 1-0.


Lavezzi's club form was not enough to see him included in Diego Maradona's 2010 FIFA World Cup squad. On the 17th of November 2010, Argentina faced Brazil in a friendly match in Qatar, in the which Argentina won by a goal from Lionel Messi in the injury time after a superb one-two play with Lavezzi. The match ended 4-0 in favor of Argentina. Lavezzi was replaced by Sergio Aguero in the 65th minute of the match.

Marek Hamšík


Profile Football Stars | Marek Hamšík | In 2002, he signed with a major Slovak team Slovan Bratislava. He played once for the Slovan A-team and scored a goal. In 2005-06, he played 24 league matches for Brescia in Serie B, with Brescia finishing tenth. He had an impressive 2006-07 season, scoring 10 goals in 40 matches. Marek Hamsik is a Slovak football midfielder currently plays for WHO Serie A club SSC Napoli and the Slovak national team captains. Despite the fact That Hamsik grew up in Banská Bystrica, he never played for major local team Dukla Banská Bystrica.

On 14 September, Cavani scored the opener in Napoli's first game of Their Champions League campaign, a 1-1 away draw at Manchester City. Four days later, on 18 September, he scored a hat-trick against Milan in Napoli's 3-1 home win. On 22 November, Cavani scored both goals in the 2-1 match winning brace against Manchester City at home in the Champions League, leaving Napoli in pole position to follow Bayern Munich into the knockout stage. On 26 November 2011, Cavani scored a 94th minute equalizer against Atalanta after Napoli went a goal down in the 64th minute through former Napoli striker Germán Denis. On 17 February, Cavani scored two goals against Fiorentina, Napoli Helping go in fifth place ahead of Inter. Edinson Cavani (Napoli)

Edinson Cavani finally officially signed a contract for five years with Napoli. The contract will bind the Uruguayan national team player until 2016.

Cavani had came to Napoli on loan from Palermo last summer. Now, his hopes to become a permanent player with the club from Naples becomes a reality.

It is Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis who announced the new agreement on Cavani.

“We have met with Cavani today and we have again extended this relationship. After that he went to Uruguay after previously signed a new agreement with us,”said the president to Radio Marte.

“We are satisfied and I personally am proud to have a great player on the team. Cavani is a person who has great confidence and great personality.”

“So far he also has to be an important element for the Napoli team,”continued Laurentiis.

How much the total contract value of Cavani is still not yet known. But in a preliminary reports that was launched by Italian media, it was described that the 24-year-old player will receive an salary of € 2 million plus bonuses.
